We watch you move at speed.
For the athlete who is done being told to rest it. We test what your sport actually demands, rebuild you to it, and show you the numbers before you go back.
What It Is
Rest makes pain quiet. It does not make a hamstring ready to sprint or a shoulder ready to throw a fourth inning. You are the one who plays through things, which is why your team counts on you and also why you are back here with the same injury on the same side.
Because rest never asked the real question: what is failing under speed? So we start with a cause-first evaluation. We watch how you load, cut, land and push off, and we use video gait analysis when running is where it breaks down. Then we test both sides and write the numbers down, so your injured side has something honest to be compared against.
From there we rebuild in four phases: Pain, Prime, Perform, Prevent. Calm it down, restore what is missing, load it to the demands of your sport, then keep it there through the season. Every visit is one-on-one with a Doctor of Physical Therapy, and every retest goes on the record. Going back is a decision you make from evidence, not from how brave you feel on a given morning.
Return to sport, tested not guessed
What It Helps
Getting cleared is easy. Getting back to the level you played at is the actual job.
What A Session Looks Like

Why It Works
Built for your sport, not for resting.
Both sides tested, numbers written down.
Blood flow restriction when heavy is off limits.
Return to play on evidence, not guesswork.
Pairs Well With
Questions, Answered
When you pass the tests, not when a calendar says so. We measure strength, control and how well the tissue tolerates load, and we compare your injured side against your healthy one. You see the same numbers we do at every retest. That way going back is a decision you make with evidence in front of you, instead of finding out mid-game.
Rarely, and we would rather you did not. Shutting an athlete down is the blunt version of care. We adjust what you load instead, because the goal is a body that tolerates your sport again, not one that feels fine while doing nothing. Where heavy loading is not safe yet, blood flow restriction lets us build strength at lighter loads. You will know exactly what is green light, what is modified, and what waits.
Usually, yes. Sports rehab is physical therapy, and we are in network with Medicare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Tricare, Multiplan and all Workers Compensation. Illinois has direct access too, so you do not need a physician referral to start. We verify your exact benefits before your first visit, so there is no surprise on your bill. Questions before then?
